RAY WARLEIGH / HANNAH MARSHALL / ALISON BLUNT / TONY MARSH
Ray Warleigh is a hugely experienced jazz alto saxophonist with a new CD out on Evan Parker's label psi. On that recording, he is partnered by Tony Marsh's amazing drumming. They both play in this quartet - convened by Marsh - featuring two outstanding string players from the LIO's ranks. The skilled and versatile cellist Marshall is known for her work with Veryan Weston's projects, particularly the Trio of Uncertainty. Blunt is a balletic violinist who plays with Marshall in the string trio Barrel and in many other groups.
